San Jose Police Department Mounted Unit "Dr. Deb Sell has been the San Jose Police Department Mounted Unit's exclusive chiropractor for the past 3 years. Many of our horses suffer from lameness and back problems. Her treatments have allowed our horses to continue to work through these issues. Considering that we have a shortage of horses, it is important that those we have are able to do their duty as a police horse. Her healing hands and general knowledge of equestrian care has helped our mounts to be as productive as possible. We look forward to her continued care and treatment. Sgt. Greg Trapp

Shirley King, Honey and Cowboy "Dr. Deborah Sell has been a real "heart donor" to the H.E.A.R.T. Center Rescue and Rehab Facility in Morgan Hill. Without charge she's helped our little, foundered Arabian mare, Honey, to walk more freely and comfortably, as she's progressed in her healing. She's helped our big, 5 year old Paint gelding, Cowboy, with his "loose caboose", injured in a cruel game of tripping when he was a yearling. Cowboy's rambunctiousness and self-preserving behavior stem from a life of freedom in the pasture without any training. Despite his feistiness, he's becoming more and more stable as Dr Deb works with him. Her patient coaxing is winning him over. These are just 2 of our 11 horses Dr. Deb has worked on and in each case she has demonstrated that loving spirit that combines gentle, effective technique with the healing touch of compassion." Dagrun Aarsten and Nora "When I bought Nora, she seemed quite uncomfortable and stiff, and didn't much like having a rider on her back. Despite hoof care, saddle change and a gentle hand, something still seemed wrong. The turning point was a visit by equine Chiropractor Dr. Deb Sell. Instead of moving with a stiff back, short choppy steps and head up in the air, she immediately started to relax her neck and to use her back more correctly. She really liked the treatment of Dr. Deb's gentle hands, and the transformation in her after the first session was amazing. Her movement improved instantly, and she just went from a stiff, unhappy, tense horse to a relaxed, happy horse. Since then she has improved every day, and she is now a great riding horse, nice and forward and full of energy, enjoying her work. Just recently she has started to offer some nice movement "on the bit", and she shows tremendous scope for jumping. I highly recommend Dr. Deb Sell to anyone seeking chiropractic treatment for their horse." Dagrun Aarsten and Nora |

Vici Whisner, Sophie and Rocky "Thanks so much for your help. I'm sorta conventional when it comes to health care, but Sophie was in such bad shape, I thought I'd try. I figured I'd do all the dogs wondering what you would find. Your adjustment to Sophie went as expected and the results over the next few days were good. But unbelievable to me, is the adjustment you did to my 2 year old Rocky has helped him even more. Rocky has been such a problem with other dogs and I've been working on his aggression behaviorally. After your adjustment, I noticed a significant improvement in his behavior when around new dogs. This improvement has continued and I am amazed. He seems to feel like a new dog, much happier and not as moody. Sophie (13 year old) is also doing well and shows energy and enthusiasm even on cold wet mornings." Vici Whisner |

Heather Sims and Macy "Our American Staffordshire Terrier, Macy, had been limping after excercising. We had taken her to the vet and they said there was no physical disability with her and it was just one of those things. I mentioned to the vets at South County Animal Hospital, that I was thinking of asking Dr Deborah Sell to do some Chiropractic work on her and they thought it was a great idea. Macy definitely had a few sore spots, but after a few adjustments and some advice on other possible solutions from Dr Deb, Macy is doing fine, even after exercise. I can highly recommend Dr Deb for Chiropractic treatment ." Heather Sims and Macy

The thought had crossed my mind to take Twister to
a chiropractor, but I had never seen it as a realistic thing to do until
a friend suggested it to me. By this time I had spent years getting Twister
to be somewhat handle able. When I found Dr. Sell, I think Twister was
in heaven! As hard to handle as I've seen him be with people other than
myself and my husband, I was amazed at how he just relaxed and let Dr.
Sell do her work on his back. He needs a "tune up" every once
in a while, but he is almost like a kitten again. He tears around the
house with 2 of the younger cats and never misses a beat at playtime.
Wow what a difference! |
